Challenge: In 2017, Viet Nam’s golf booking market was mostly done via phone or tour operators. GolfConnect 24 aims to digitalise golf booking in Viet Nam. I was tasked to primarily increase awareness of GolfConnect 24 for my 3 months internship.
Branding: Along with CEO Mike Nguyen, we established a clear and consistent brand identity as a simple golf booking app – with an exclusive GPS Hole Map Feature unique to Viet Nam golf courses.
Content Strategy: To attract and engage audiences, a three-pronged strategy of using videos, banners and blog posts via Facebook. In 2017, Facebook was the most used social media platform in Viet Nam and the most efficient way of targeting the niche target market of golfers.
Videos: To drive views for the page, we reposted interesting golf-related videos with 3 main themes – Fun, Curious and Inspiring. These three types of video content were found to be golfers’ favourites.
Banners: Banners with feature details on GolfConnect 24’s apps were created to help and attract golfers download the app. Both English and Vietnamese versions were uploaded to cater for expat and local golfers.

Blog Posts: 6 blog posts were created associating golf with digitalisation, with app features included in each post to encourage downloads.
