In 2014/2015, for NTU Hall 13’s Junior Common Room Committee, I was the Publications Secretary. I was responsible for the publication of Hall events and happenings, and my primary role was to create Hall 13’s Annual Publication. However, I decided to expand the role and took charge of actively managing our Hall’s Facebook page.
Along with our subcommittee, we aimed to cover Hall 13’s sporting events during IHG comprehensively. The inaugural promotional video was done to generate hype among our residents for the competitive tournament. Photos and match reports were uploaded to Hall 13’s Facebook page to garner support for our athletes and keeping fellow residents updated on our results.
Hall13’s 2015 Publication was titled 13GACY, a play on the Hall’s number and the word “Legacy”. I took a different approach for the year’s publication – instead of the usual formal reports of the year’s events, our subcommittee compiled stories and quotes from residents to match photos taken during the year.
