In 2018 as part of Transmart’s new content strategy for digital marketing, we decided to create videos in both cooking – Bukan Resep Biasa (BRB) / No Ordinary Recipe – and cosmetics tips – Transmart Beauty Thursday (TBT). Our research has identified these 2 key categories our target customers are interested in on social media.

Our team conceptualised and executed the videos single-handedly, renting equipment and I was responsible for the end-to-end (pre, shoot, & post-prod) execution despite only being an intern. We released 1 video every week since October 2018, targeting 12 videos by the end of the year.
BRB Summary Video (Jan 2019)
The target was to eventually sell the media placement to brands in order to generate a new revenue channel for the company. We achieved this in March 2019 when Unilever Indonesia collaborated with our company to release a 4-part series of Ramadan recipes in May 2019. This brought in about Rp. 100jt (USD 6,248) in revenue for our team, as the videos are released on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube).
